Fernando Alonso won the Grand Prix of Malaysia
Malaysian Grand Prix ended with unexpected result - the race was won by McLaren pilots…

Last time the team won so confident in the late 1990s when Mika Häkkinen had become world champion for 2 times. Since then McLaren was regularly haunted by failures and in the last season the pilots didn’t win a single race.
Even at the time of the tests it became clear that the McLaren team brought to Malaysia very fast cars. Nevertheless Alonso and Hamilton didn’t manage to win qualification, Felipe Mass showed the best time.
There were no tech problems at the start and from the first turn pilots appeared in such sequence: Mass - Alonso-Rajkkonen-Hamilton. At this point, Alonso’s McLaren suddenly rushed ahead and began to lose from Ferrari of Mass. Kimi Rajkkonen immediately after the start tried to cut off trajectory for Hamilton but on the approach to the first green leaf left on the external side as if missing young British forward. As a result Hamilton not only became leader but also easily passed Mass.

Till the end of the race no one threatened Alonso’s leadership. Rajkkonen managed to get close to Hamilton at the end of the race but didn’t have enough time to overtake him.
