Mercedes-Benz showing interest in Aston Martin
Aston Martin that not so long ago settled in the hands of the of new owners can be sold again…

According to rumours, some interest was shown by the giant Daimler AG. However the origin of these rumours is a bit unconfirmed, and Mercedes gave no immediate comments on this situation.

It is likely that these rumours were provoked by the fact that German concern parted off with other British company McLaren. Now Daimler AG has no developer of platforms for their sport-rcars, and journalists with economic analysts simply found a company with a long tradition of high-speed production cars, such as Aston Martin.

Well, I think it would be brilliant if mercedez benz acquired Aston Martin. Because I find British cars often produce excellent results when mixed up with other countrys cars, the Shelby AC Cobra, fantastic and the Mercedez Maclaren, fabulous. So I’ll bet Aston Will do much better now that Ford Isn’t Buggering them up. Isnts it annoying how the text box changes to green when you have your cursor over it? its really rather annoying and it makes it hard to read. well to the desinger of this webpage please for your sake change that feature or I will drive over to waterver computer desk your’e sitting at and run you over with my DBS and then with my Hummer H1, thank you.

absolutely not!!!! AM will certainly loose all its high class superbly mixed with its low profile.. this mix is powerful: to perceive the beauty, the soul, the power for feeling it, not because somobody shows it.. mercedes progressively lost its personality and it seems similar to its competitors.. AM is still unique and WE wish it will continue this wonderful way..

Message to Kirk - are you on a sex offenders list? Perhaps you should be with a comment like that. Try more imaginative vocabulary - if you’re able?

Well If AM been aquired by Mercedes then the Brtitish identity of the car will be lost, it will not be an independant company run by a dedicated soprts car passionist. The loyalty of building a car is the enthisiasm of creating a passion and concentrating only on generating sports car, Mercedes has lot of diversified cars. but on the other hand, Mercedes will solve the technical problems such as AM problematic gear box for the reason that they are well experienced inthat field.
